Troubleshoot Netgear extender genie that continues to appear after installation

Netgear genie might appear in browser website that you try to open when your device is connected to a Netgear extender network, this occurs if the extender is not being configured correctly or when extender disconnects from main router Wi-Fi network.
To troubleshoot genie that continues appear after installation:
1.       Perform network power cycle by rebooting your main router and extender.
2.       Reconnect to default Wi-Fi network of Netgear extender.
3.       Open your web browser and re-run the Netgear extender setup wizard.

4.       If the issue persists, reset extender back to default factory settings.
5.       Clear web browser cache and recent history.
6.       Connect your PC to default Wi-Fi network of Netgear extender.
7.       Open a web browser and configure the extender, you must place range extender where it can least 40% of Wi-Fi router signal strength.
8.       Once Netgear extender is successfully installed and configured close Netgear genie and try to browse. Check for the configurations of the Netgear EX6200 wifi netgear range extender.

Obtaining an internet IP address:

1.       Log in to the wireless router.
2.       Use router status link under maintenance heading to check to log into Netgear router that IP address is shown for internet port, if your router is unable to obtain an IP address from the service provider the problem may be one of following:
3.       Your service provider may require a login ask service provider whether they require PPP over ethernet login.
4.       You may have incorrectly set the service name, username, and password.
5.       Your service provider may check for your PC hostname, assign the PC hostname of ISP account to a wireless router in the browser-based basic setting menu.
6.       Your service provider only allows one Ethernet MAC address to connect to the internet and may check for PC MAC address, in this case, inform the service provider that you have bought a new network device and ask them to use the wireless router MAC address
