How To connect the NETGEAR WiFi Extender manually?
• At first, you have to connect your computer with the router via Ethernet Cable.
• Then plugin both the code of the computer and Router into the power outlet.
• Then open any of the web browsers on to your computer such as google chrome, internet explorer, etc. Then on the address bar of the web browser enter your router default IP address, and then press enter.
• Now a new login page will appear on the window, where you have to enter your router default Username and password.
• Once you enter correct default username and default password then you will be login into the admin page of the router.
• Once you have successfully logged in into the web management page of the router, then go to Setup option, under setup option go to Wireless Settings.
• Now you have to Check the value in the Password (Network Key) field under Security Options.
Note: If the password is not the same as your router password, change it so it matches.
• Then you have to Click Apply. Move to the steps for performing the manual configuration, if they are failed.
• After that Reconnect your Wi-Fi devices to the NETGEAR WiFi Extender.
How to setup Netgear Extender Without Ethernet Cable
• Reset your NETGEAR WiFi Extender back to factory default settings.
• Connect via Wi-Fi to your NETGEAR WiFi extender.
• Login to the web user interface of your NETGEAR WiFi Extender using http://myWiFiext.net.
You will be prompted to enter a username and password.
Default login credentials are:
o Username: admin
o Password: password
Note: Username and password are case sensitive.
o Follow the setup wizard to set up your connection to your router.
o Reconnect your Wi-Fi devices to your NETGEAR WiFi Extender.
