User Access Controls for Amped wifi extenders


For the easy control onto the Amped wifi extenders, you can set the schedules of for the enables and disabled to the wifi whenever you require through its access schedule features. This feature works on both the Home networks and the extended networks as well. Step 1:-Enable the access schedule by visiting on to the address 192.168.3.1amped wireless setup.
Step 2:-Here you have to select the days on which you want to access wifi to be available.
Step 3:-After selecting the day you need to select the time frame on which you wish for the availability of wifi.
Step 4:-Click on the apply button to make changes applicable.
Enabling the access schedule will also be work for disabling the internet access for wired connections as well for specified days.
Note:-Before above settings make sure that you have already configured the clock of the system in order for the schedule to work properly. If you need to adjust the time you adjust the time zone settings from the web menu under Management>Time zone settings.
User access control:-

                                   This feature is very useful as with the help of this you can allow and deny the access of the internet to the specified users who are connected wirelessly to the extended network. A unique code which is called a MAC address available with each device. The MAC number is a 12 digit code number.
By input the MAC address in the settings by visiting on the address 192.168.3.1 amped wireless setup of the extender you can be defined that this device is allowed in the network or not to access the internet on this network.
